3 Simple Steps to Balanced Life
Let’s take a quick poll of the room. Raise your hand if you’re living what you would consider a balanced life, with lots of time split between family, friends, and work.
My guess is that your hand is quietly lying in your lap. Hang in there. I created a system that works for me and know it will help you, too!
Women like us are more overwhelmed than ever before. More of us work and look for side hustles to supplement our income. We raise grandchildren and have adult children or aging parents moving back in with us. Simply looking in the mirror is overwhelming when we see that we’ve reached or exceeded our “midlife.”
It isn’t fun. We can barely juggle all the balls at once, let alone find the time or energy for self-care and personal growth.
Is a Balanced Life Even Possible?
Up until a couple of years ago, I sure didn’t think so!
As a mother of neurodiverse adult children, I didn’t even realize that my stress was growing and starting to crack the tough exterior I built. That stress turned into an anxiety that permeated every facet of my life.
In the face of all sorts of chaos and drama, I insisted, “I’m fine, really!” (I must admit I’m pretty good at detecting B.S. when I see it in anyone other than myself.)
That’s when I came up with my plan for living a more simple, balanced life, which I’m sharing with you today.
